Cold Water Survival Commercial (CWSC)

Cold Water Survival Commercial (CWSC) is a specialized training program designed to prepare individuals to survive in cold water environments, which is critical for workers in marine industries, fishing, oil and gas extraction, and similar sectors where there's a risk of water exposure in cold climates.

Course Aim

8 Hour Cold Water Survival (CWS)

The aim of this course is to provide offshore Platform and Marine vessel crew members with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully apply priorities to aid in rescue and increase survival time in the event of a cold water immersion.

Course Aim

8 Hour Cold Helicopter Underwater Egress Training (CHUET)

The aim of this course is to provide offshore helicopter passengers with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully abandon an upright ditched helicopter and egress underwater from an inverted helicopter in cold water environments. Training with Compressed Air emergency breathing apparatus can be added to this course.

Course Aim

16 Hour CWS/HUET

This course equips personnel who work or travel on or over cold water with the skills and knowledge needed for emergencies related to platforms, vessels, and aircraft ditching. It covers emergency response techniques, survival strategies after egress, and effective participation in rescue efforts. Training with Compressed Air Emergency Breathing Apparatus is also available as an addition to this course.

Accidental Immersion & Rescue (AIR)

This course is designed to equip shore-based crew members working near or over cold water with critical skills and knowledge. Participants will learn how to effectively respond to accidental cold water immersions, enhance their short-term survival chances, perform self-rescue, and assist in the rescue of others. Gain the expertise required to handle these challenging situations with confidence and competence.

Commercial Fisherman Drill Conductor Course

This comprehensive course is tailored for commercial fishermen, covering all mandatory safety drills and emergency procedures required to ensure safety and compliance at sea. Participants will gain in-depth training on a wide range of critical topics, including Cold Water Survival Skills, the use of EPIRBs (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons), emergency signaling equipment, and proper Mayday protocols. Additionally, the course addresses Man Overboard Recovery, Fire Fighting, Flooding and Damage Control, as well as the correct usage of Immersion Suits and Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs). Trainees will also learn to conduct emergency drills, coordinate Helicopter Rescues, and execute Life Rafts and Abandon Ship Procedures effectively.
