Continuing a Legacy
Founded in memory of the Challenger shuttle crew, the Challenger Learning Center of Alaska continues the educational mission started by the astronauts' families. Part of a global network established in 1986, our center in Kenai, Alaska, has been advancing space science education since April 2000.
Through space-themed simulations, hands-on workshops, and distance learning, we engage students across Alaska, sparking interest in STEM fields. Our programs emphasize critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork, preparing youth for future success.
